Lille High Court
Lille, France
General description
Construction of the new Lille High Court. It consists of 2 interconnected buildings, each rising 5 stories high, with a base attached to the existing ramparts. The central building will house the courtrooms accessible to the public, while the peripheral building will be dedicated to the magistrates.
On this project, Studio Fahrenheit designed the fire safety strategy of the building and ensured the effective integration of the fire safety systems in the design and construction of the building. As fire engineers of the project, we worked closely with the Fire Brigade instructing services and Local Authorities to define the fire safety strategy of the building, the fire brigade access and facilities, taking into account the specific operating and security requirements related to this type of structure.
