Stéphane Durand

Technical Director

With over 19 years of experience in the Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP), including more than 10 years in the fire prevention office, Stéphane Durand is a recognized expert in fire safety and risk management.

During his time at the BSPP, he developed extensive expertise in risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and conducting safety audits for sensitive and complex sites. His leadership and ability to train and manage multidisciplinary teams have greatly contributed to his reputation for rigor and efficiency. He held key positions, including prevention officer, head of the Hauts-de-Seine department, and deputy head of the prevention office.
He also contributed to the preparation of the 2024 Olympic Games and the revision of national fire safety regulations.

In 2024, Stéphane joined Studio Fahrenheit, where he oversees technical operations, ensuring rigorous safety standards while optimizing processes. He analyzes projects in compliance with specific fire safety regulations as well as accessibility requirements for people with disabilities.

Stéphane is involved in all stages of projects—design, execution, and handover—for a wide range of buildings: office buildings, high-rise buildings, public establishments (shopping centers, cinemas, hospitals, schools, sports facilities, theaters), and residential buildings.
