Camille Le Compagnon

Fire engineer

Engineer diploma (Master of Science) in energy engineering – Ecole des Mines d’Albi, France.

Camille is an engineer, specialized in energy and thermal sciences, with software development skills.

She began working in fire engineering in the nuclear industry in Brussels, Belgium where she carried out a fire hazard analysis for nuclear power plants and performed fire growth/spread calculations.

She then worked for 2 years in New Zealand, as a fire engineer in an architectural design office, developing performance-based fire engineering designs for public buildings. She worked with NZ fire regulations that are largely inspired from British Standards and performed advanced computer modelling of fire and smoke (B-Risk, FDS) and egress calculations.

Back to France, she organised and managed sprinkler installations on construction sites (for industrial and public buildings) on behalf of a sprinkler contractor. This experience provided her with good ground technical experience and pragmatical insights regarding fire protection systems in buildings. More recently, she worked as a web and java developer as she’s interested in digital technologies and always keen to learn new things that may improve engineering methods.

Camille joined Studio Fahrenheit in February 2020, to develop fire strategies for complex, high risk and high occupancy buildings located in France and abroad.
